چکیده

The natural extract of Caryophyllus aromaticus (clove) and aluminum oxide nanoparticles (NPs) was packed in honey/chitosan (HTCs) to manufacturing biocompatible antibacterial nanofibrous wound bandage. This work will compare two types agents, the first is a which clove extracted from aromaticus, second metal nanoparticles, are 0xide nanoparticles. (CE) NPs (Al2O3 NPs) enriched HTCs prepare HTCs-CE, HTCs-Al2O3NPs, HTCs-CE/Al2O3 nanofibers mates respectively. All prepared mats were characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). In vitro, testing against S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, vulgaris, s. pyogenes carrying out comparison with Meropenem Imipenem antibiotics. MTT assay used for evaluation cell viability proliferation developed nanofibers. result appears that all HTCs, HTCs-CE/Al2O3NPs treatments have different ability inhibit bacterial growth depend on types. These showed significantly greater efficiency inhibition as compared mentioned 0n other hand, culture studies proved nanofiber good biocompatibility commercial Aquacel®Ag. results indicated become more effective control. Moreover, significant effects dressing

Antibacterial activity of Syzygium aromaticum (clove) with metal ion effect against food borne pathogens

The antibacterial properties of “Syzygium aromaticum” commonly known as “Clove” tested against food borne pathogens (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli). Agar diffusion susceptibility test revealed inhibition zone of clove sample. Compare to ethanolic extract, methanolic extract was showing best result against gram positive culture Staphylococcus aureus (MTCC 2940) and two gram negative cultures...

Unequivocal Identification of 1-Phenylethyl Acetate in Clove Buds (syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M.Perry) and Clove Essential Oil

The natural occurrence of 1-phenylethyl acetate (styrallyl acetate) was confirmed in commercially available dried clove buds and also in the hydrodistilled oil from clove buds. This confirms previous reports and other anecdotal evidence for its occurrence in nature.

Effect of 50% ethanolic extract of Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & Perry. (clove) on sexual behaviour of normal male rats

BACKGROUND The flower bud of Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & Perry. (clove) has been used in Unani medicine since ancient times for the treatment of male sexual disorders. The present study is aimed to investigate the effect of 50% ethanolic extract of clove on general mating behaviour, libido, potency along with its likely gastric ulceration and adverse effects on sexually normal male albino ...

Antineoplastic effects of clove buds (Syzygium aromaticum L.) in the model of breast carcinoma

It is supposed that plant functional foods, rich in phytochemicals, may potentially have preventive effects in carcinogenesis. In this study, the anticancer effects of cloves in the in vivo and in vitro mammary carcinoma model were assessed. Dried flower buds of cloves (CLOs) were used at two concentrations of 0.1% and 1% through diet during 13 weeks after the application of chemocarcinogen. Af...

Clove (Syzygium aromaticum L.), a potential chemopreventive agent for lung cancer.

Spices and flavoring plants part rich in supposedly health-promoting phytochemicals are currently receiving much attention as a possible source of cancer chemopreventive compounds. Clove, the sun-dried unopened flower bud from the plant Syzygium aromaticum L. is a commonly used spice and food flavor. In the present work we assess the chemopreventive potential of aqueous infusion of clove during...
